I feel a little guilty gobbling down all your weeks of hard work in one sitting, but OMG that was Crazy Awesome!!! (Closing in on 2 am, please forgive lack of proper English or general mental coherency.)

So many balls in the air, atmosphere, emotions and tension galore. A somewhat surprising amount of bodily harm, oh those poor puppies. Great use of Will (Codes! Hah!), happy to see the girls get lots of attention, and Hunith FTW!! :) :)

Best Christmas present, this and the kindle I got for Christmas. I love books and to be honest I wasn't that keen on a kindle till I realised you can download fanfic from AO3. So I am going to very busy for the next few days.

Also, wow what a word count. Well done, can't wait to read this chapter - which I am going to do now, never mind that is 11pm here. Sleep is overrated anyway.

Seeing that you posted this was the only thing that got me through my 10 hour work day yesterday. Then, when I finally got home, I stayed up until after midnight to finish it.

I'm still in a state of glee over it even though I've only had a few hours of sleep. TOTALLY WORTH IT. I love love love how you do plot and details. The overall arc is stellar and this story had me going *kermit flail* all over the place!

I can totally see this ending with the boys developing PTSD and being unable to let each other out of their sight... Which would almost be cute, if it wasn't so sad. T__T

Pain and heartbreak aside, I'm always amazed by the amount of detail you put into each and every scene, and you had me on the edge of my seat, hoping for the success of the rescue missions! But to leave us with such a cliffhanger! Guh!

I eagerly await the next part.

But honestly part 11 was brilliant. Well done! So much to
take in, poor Merlin, Kay and Will. Can't wait to
have Arthur and Merlin reunited. And Balinor - really hope we get him in the next instalment. And Arthur will go
completely mental when he sees all of Merlin's injuries.

I really enjoyed the fic. It wasn't very fun to read, but there was just the right amount of humor to make all the violence bearable. I loved your version of Hunith, and how she reminded Arthur of Merlin.
I got pretty early on the feeling that Merlin wasn't going to be rescued in this part, and though I really wished I was wrong, I think it's realistic that Excalibur couldn't get rescue everyone. You really surprised me with Mordred, I thought he was going to be someone that's just mentioned in passing now and then, and now I'm really curious to find out what's his part in all this.
Oh, and I've long ago lost the count of all the organisations and who's working with who - but I guess at this point you want us to be confused. =)

Oh you terrible wonderful person...I had avoided part 10 like a crazy person because I didn't want a cliffhanger and when you posted part 11, I was like finally and...so yes both part 10 and 11 were amazing (you do a fantastic with pacing and especially do an amazing job with the whole world-building/plot) but ahhhh! cliffhanger! Though to be fair, halfway I kind of expected that to happen...especially since I was wondering where Modred was going to fit into this.

I was planning on leaving a review once the series was complete...but with all the feels! from the finale to the many questions I have because of the allusion to reincarnation that you put in, I had to comment this time around. I have to say I'm really, really intrigued at how you are going to tie in the past and the idea of the revival of magic. I guess asking whether the whole idea of the "once and future king" and how Merlin's destiny ties to Arthur will be relevant in LM would be spoiling the plot. Oh and while I'm guessing Mordred probably will guess Merlin has magic...I really hope only Arthur, Hunith and co. are the only people who know how exactly powerful Merlin is (him being an "artefact" to bring back magic and all). Also I wonder if Morgause did get through to Morgana even a little and whether that bracelet has another significance.

And lastly as a comment about LM in general...I adore this fic to pieces. I love the world you built, the boys, Gwen & Morgana, the plot and I LOVE Merlin and Arthur and their relationship. You made Arthur into the man I always hoped he'd be in the series. And Merlin...he's everything awesome :) Also I never liked how most fics portrayed possessive!Arthur before but wow in LM possessive!Arthur is burning hot..it hit all my kinks without making me feel like it was a messed up power dynamic. The fact Merlin is equally protective!possessive is just perfect. So yeah I love how devoted/loyal and how much they believe in each other.

Whew! That got a long-winded. But wanted to show my appreciation... it's because of writers like you that I ended up fangirling over M/A. So thank you :)

Gah! I don't even know. I usually pace myself throught your installations to savor everything that happens, but I ended up plowing through the whole thing yesterday. Now I feel bereft...

Seriously, that ending was like trying to jog down a very steep hill. Very hard to slow down once you get going. Now of course we all have to wait anxiously for the rest. I sense that we are nearing the end, yes? Such a complex world you've got going. Plots within plots within plots. I applaud your ability to keep it all sorted. And I thank you because now I'm supper jazzed to get to work on the next part of my own little tale. Oh writing. I expect that the new year will bring lots of it from me :)

I'd reread part 10 before starting on part 11 to refresh my memory (and because I was due anyway - I keep rereading the whole series every few months), and I remember thinking, "Surely it'll get better, because it can't get worse." But you've surprised me! As you always do <3 The plotting skills you have are as impeccable as Arthur's XD I am always, always on the edge of my seat, simultaneously wanting to skip ahead to know *what happens* and to read as slowly as I can to savor every line <3 IT'S SO GOOD. THIS IS MY LOVE CONFESSION TO THIS FIC. (and to you for writing it!)

As Arthur, I don't know whom to trust now! I only trust Excalibur and Gaius and Hunith, at this point.

Finally got to finish this today, and it was just so worth the wait between parts! Just really great as usual - the world building and the myth arc of how long the whole backstory of the series has been running has been really cool, especially because of how well everything fits with what's been established and answers why things are they way they are. The further development of the characters and their backgrounds is still a huge highlight for me; I didn't expect that Hunith would play as large a role as she would in this chapter, and now I don't really want to imagine the rest of the series without her, the further development of Will and Merlin's friendship - of course they'd have a secret code with each other - was just phenomenal, as were the great POV's of Gwen and Morgana.

I thought your way of establishing the mood of this part was really, really effective. This definitely felt like the darkest chapter so far, especially since two of the main POV's, Morgana's and Merlin's, were basically them living under torture, and the third involved constant fear and doubt. What sort of stood out for me in mood was how the romantic scenes were considerably shorter than in prior parts, with relief being the predominant mood; I really noticed, for example, that Perce/Gwaine don't really do anything with each other this chapter, which really hammered just how dire the situation is.

As dark as it was in the context, it was really satisfying to have Arthur in control during the phone conversations with Kilgarrah considering how difficult it was in previous chapters to get into any contact with The Dragon. Also great was Gwen's observation about Morgana and salads; really laughed over that one.

Finally: that cliffhanger! The wait for Part 12 is gonna be SO. BAD.

As others said, there's so much going on! So many enemies, no one to turn to. I cried so much about Arthur and Merlin ugh. AND KAY AND WILL FUGUFJFHG I was clutching my heart!!! Seriously, every time you release a new part to LM, it is even more epic than the last. I love how you had so many things going on at once then eventually linking it all together.

I loved Hunith and I'm so glad we get to see more of her, ditto for Morgana. And most of all, I love how it was just non-stop action from the first paragraph. You didn't give us time to breathe.

When is part 12 coming out?

Oh my God, you are brilliant! I've waited to end the last updated chapter to review this amazing fic but it has been hard because there are so many things I wanted to say. First of all, I really like the way you write, I couldn't stop reading every single chapter even if I should have been doing homework or sleeping. This fic was slowly going between my favourites and then you also put some Perwaine in it and I just couldn't love you more, they are so sweet, I hope we can see more of them in the next chapters. Gwaine has became one of my favourite characters, he always says such inappropriate and funny things and he always pretends to be the tough one even if deep down he is really sweet and caring. Not to talk about Arthur and Merlin, I love how you can make me picture their relationship, make me feel their love for each other even in the smut scenes which is not a simple thing. I love that their, is a realistic relationship. On top of that, the story is incredible, there are so many secrets, so many things that has been hidden, that must be discovered, all the pieces that are slowly completing the puzzle. Involving the old generetion, Uther, Hunith, Balinor and the others, it's a great idea, I love it! I can't wait to read more about their story.
I really hope I've written everything that I wanted because in case you haven't already understood it, I really like this story, it is definitely one of my favourite.
I can't wait for the next part, I hope you will update it soon!

What an amazingly well crafted story. The technical details alone make this without a doubt one of the best researched stories I've ever read. On par if not better than any published book I've read over a very long lifetime of obsessive reading.
The sex scenes were some of the best slash in any fic I've come across. Both hot and tender and full of the emotion that many other authors fall short of.
Love this more than I have words for and can't wait to see where it's going to go next.
I hope you don't mind but I've friended you so I can keep an eye out for updates.
