Oh you terrible wonderful person...I had avoided part 10 like a crazy person because I didn't want a cliffhanger and when you posted part 11, I was like finally and...so yes both part 10 and 11 were amazing (you do a fantastic with pacing and especially do an amazing job with the whole world-building/plot) but ahhhh! cliffhanger! Though to be fair, halfway I kind of expected that to happen...especially since I was wondering where Modred was going to fit into this.
I was planning on leaving a review once the series was complete...but with all the feels! from the finale to the many questions I have because of the allusion to reincarnation that you put in, I had to comment this time around. I have to say I'm really, really intrigued at how you are going to tie in the past and the idea of the revival of magic. I guess asking whether the whole idea of the "once and future king" and how Merlin's destiny ties to Arthur will be relevant in LM would be spoiling the plot. Oh and while I'm guessing Mordred probably will guess Merlin has magic...I really hope only Arthur, Hunith and co. are the only people who know how exactly powerful Merlin is (him being an "artefact" to bring back magic and all). Also I wonder if Morgause did get through to Morgana even a little and whether that bracelet has another significance.
And lastly as a comment about LM in general...I adore this fic to pieces. I love the world you built, the boys, Gwen & Morgana, the plot and I LOVE Merlin and Arthur and their relationship. You made Arthur into the man I always hoped he'd be in the series. And Merlin...he's everything awesome :) Also I never liked how most fics portrayed possessive!Arthur before but wow in LM possessive!Arthur is burning hot..it hit all my kinks without making me feel like it was a messed up power dynamic. The fact Merlin is equally protective!possessive is just perfect. So yeah I love how devoted/loyal and how much they believe in each other.
Whew! That got a long-winded. But wanted to show my appreciation... it's because of writers like you that I ended up fangirling over M/A. So thank you :)
