BB Draft Zero

I am calling it a monstrous, horribly bad Draft Zero, and I feel horrible for my betas and my artist, because they're going to have to read it in this condition, but I am sick, sick, sick of the BB fic right now, and I need a break from it.

The Draft Zero wordcount?  133,654.

Dear God.

{bows to your prolificity -- I made up that word just for you.}

Dayum.

The Draft Zero wordcount? 133,654.

...oomph.

Ok, I feel better about 87k now.

...a little.

Still. Ooomph!

Out of curiosity (and that's all it is cuz I don't want you to change AT ALL EVER) have you ever written a short story? ;-)

You are sick of your BB, I was just plain sick so work halted on mine for a while. Now I'm back in it and I can't imagine how long it's gonna be when it's done because I am at around 25k and not even 1/3 through! It's already the longest one-shot I've ever written. *shakes head* Maybe you are rubbing off on me? *hopes*

Uhm wow! Congrats on finishing your draft zero! And...thats one hell of a word count

Also, I'm really psyched to read all that. Can't remember how long LM is to date, but I'm sure BB will be comparable in quality, and an absolute joy to read

Take. A. Break.

Put that plot bunny over the fire and inform it that if it doesn't let you rest, your family will be having rabbit stew tonight.

On another note, I'm getting wibbles just looking at that word count. You never fail to impress

Ill take some of your words off your hands if you want...

You are a crazy person...but I might just love you ( in a non sexual non threatening way of course)

[identity profile] phantmgreeneyes.livejournal.com 2012-05-11 01:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Day-umm. That is impressive. I don't think I could write 133k of ANYTHING, even fictional anythings.
Also? I don't think you are capable of writing anything monstrously horribly bad, darling. It's just not in your DNA. so Draft Zero, while it might be rough, still kicks ass. Fear not.
Your adoring fans wait with baited breath to read it!

WELP, THERE GOES MY SELF-ESTEEM. *only has a piddly 12k*

How the hell do you manage everything? WHAT IS YOUR SECRET, PLEASE TELL ME.

But seriously, kudos to you, that's awesome! I can't wait to read it! :D

Over 133,000 words *squeaks and falls over*

I don't know what you're smokin' but can I have some???

:D

Jaw on floor over word-count. No wonder you need a bit of a break. Breaks are a wonderful thing really - I'm a big believer in the brain processing things deep down without you really being conscious of it, making all the difference when you come back to it later.

Here's something nice and soothing while your brain recuperates... http://healingatserenity.com/photo/2011/04/distance-healing-1.jpg
